If that's a pontil, Id guess it's transitional. I have a similar one that appears in an eBay lot. Wider ribbon, but similar.

I have a pile of dug Jacksons. Similar pattern to the swirl, similar base glass, only one glows in the UV. That is only a bone, sorry. I'll scour my wvs pile and see if I can compare.
Man! Has anybody ever seen one of the Chinese birdcage marbles?
It almost reminds me of the glass used in some older Chinese paperweights (the sandy color base glass with bright primary color designs).
