Boys Playing Marbles in Chicago, 1914

Boys Playing MarblesHere are a group of boys playing marbles in Chicago, Illinois, in 1914. Looks to be a cold day. No doubt somebody lost some old favorite marbles and somebody won some new favorite marbles.

I'm always amazed when I see these old photos that vintage marbles from these periods still survive in mint condition.
