Handmade Marbles by Wald Glass and Steven Maslach

Here are two nice handmade marbles I recently acquired.

On the left is a 1 1/4" classic four-color ribbon core swirl by glass artist Steven Maslach, which was a gift to me purchased from Seekers Glass Gallery in Cambria, CA.

On the right is a .88" ribbon style by Wald Glass featuring green aventurine with pink highlights on one side and big flake gold aventurine on the other. I nabbed this one for under $20. That lutz really comes alive in the sunlight!

Marble Trivia

The glazed stoneware marbles called 'Benningtons' were popularly believed to have originated in Bennington, VT, but they in fact were imported from Germany.
