Onionskin Marbles
A large mint condition antique onionskin is any marble collector's dream. They are a favorite among many collectors.
These handmade antique marbles resemble colorful onionskin due to the way the layers of glass canes and flecks of glass are stretched and swirled. Many onionskins also include flecks of mica or strands of lutz, and range in size from just over half an inch to upwards of two inches.
Some modern glass artists also create beautiful and far more affordable onionskin marbles.
