Marble King, Inc. Marbles

In 1949 Berry Pink and Sellers Peltier of the Peltier Glass Company bought the Akro Agate Company and renamed it to Marble King, which was Pink’s nickname. They are still doing business today in West Virginia.

They are best known for their colorful “Rainbow” marbles such as the classic black and yellow Bumble Bee. Some of their most stunningly colored marbles only saw the light of day after being dug up in large quantities from dump sites near Marble King’s Paden City plant.
