Handmade Marbles by Wald Glass and Steven Maslach

Here are two nice handmade marbles I recently acquired.

On the left is a 1 1/4″ classic four-color ribbon core swirl by glass artist Steven Maslach, which was a gift to me purchased from Seekers Glass Gallery in Cambria, CA.

On the right is a .88″ ribbon style by Wald Glass featuring green aventurine with pink highlights on one side and big flake gold aventurine on the other. I nabbed this one for under $20. That lutz really comes alive in the sunlight!

Marble Trivia

Before marbles were called 'marbles' in England, they were known as 'bowls' or 'knickers'.
